Director | Elisabet Ljungar
Elisabet Ljungar works as a director within many different genres, everything from baroque music to newly written operas, musical theater, cabaret and theater. Amongst her workplaces one can find The Royal Opera in Stockholm, Göteborgsoperan, Norrlandsoperan, Wermland Opera, Malmö Opera, Nordnorsk Opera, Kulturhuset Stadsteatern Stockholm and Borås Stadsteater. In 2001 she founded the chamber opera company TeaterTravers and managed it until 2012, with the purpose of spreading music drama to a new and wider audience. She also works as a playwright, translator and as a performing arts educator at artistic universities around Sweden.

Musical director | Bengt-Åke Lundin
Bengt-Åke Lundin did his debut in 1989, playing with the Royal Philharmonics in Tjajkovskijs Piano Concert nr 1 and he was the first representative from Stockholm concert hall to ever be appointed in ECHO’s Rising star. He has performed with every large symphony orchestra in Sweden and has done orchestra concerts and solo pieces in, amongst others, Carnegie Hall in New York, Alte Oper in Frankfurt, Kölner Philharmonie, Konzerthaus Wien and Symphony Hall in Birmingham. Bengt-Åke has also won a Grammis award and has played with Peter Mattei, Malena Ernman and Matilda Paulsson.

Set & costume design | Sven Östberg
Sven Östberg has been the set designer for most of Opera på Skäret’s productions: Rigoletto 2006, Aida 2007, The Bailiffs & the beer 2007 and 2009, Il Tabarro & Pagliacci 2009, the child opera The Magic Flute – a winter’s tale 2009, Carmen 2011, Lucia di Lammermoor 2012, The Barber of Seville 2013, La Traviata 2015, The Flying Dutchman 2016 and Madama Butterfly 2017. He has been a director, revue writer and a variety show director. He has also worked with the development of the entertainment at the theme park Liseberg and educated actors at Wendelsbergs folkhögskola.

Lighting design | Kevin Wyn-Jones
Stockholm between 1998 and 2004. Meanwhile he worked with the lighting design of other theatres and opera houses in Sweden and around Europe, such as the Bolshoi theatre in Moscow and the National opera of Latvia in Riga. He has worked on productions of Carmen, The Flying Dutchman, Tosca and Lady Macbeth. Here at Opera på Skäret, he has been responsible for the lighting during the productions of Lucia di Lammermoor 2012, The Barber of Seville 2013, La Traviata 2015, The Flying Dutchman 2016 and Madama Butterfly 2017.

Make-up & wig design | Robin Karlsson
Robin Karlsson is a highly sought make-up artist, costume- and wig designer for operas and theatres around Sweden. He has been responslible for the make-up and wig departments at the royal theatres in Stockholm and Copenhagen. Robin Karlsson has directed, done set design and costumes for many productions in Sweden. He has also managed Arbisteatern in Norrköping, where he with great success directed the musicals Evita and Sugar, along side the operetto The Merry Widow by Lehár. This summer he is returning to Opera på Skäret where he previously has worked with the productions of Tosca 2008, Lucia di Lammermoor 2012, La Traviata 2015, The Flying Dutchman 2016 and Madama Butterfly 2017.

Producer | Anna-Carin Niclasson
Anna-Carin Niclasson is an opera singer and has studied at Musikhögskolan and Operastudio 67. She has worked at Stora Teatern in Gothenburg and Göteborgsoperan and has teached singing and dancing at Kulturama. As a singer, Anna-Carin has played roles like Mimi in La Bohème, Violetta in La Traviata and Adina in The Elexir of Love (Elisir d’amore). She has been the producer for Opera på Skäret since 2008, producing Tosca, Il tabarro, Pagliacci, La Bohème, Carmen, Lucia di Lammermoor, The Barber of Seville, Otello, La Traviata, The Flying Dutchman, Madama Butterfly and the children’s production The Magic Flute – a winter’s tale.
